TEST YOUR PITCH RECOGNITION SRT
If you can Measure it…You can Improve it. Technology has transformed baseball. Now, add perception/brain to the dimensions of performance. The Official GameSense Standardized Recognition Test (SRT) is the only assessment of its kind.
Used by pro, college, HS and Travel teams to measure a hitter’s ability to read pitches. Now Hitters and coaches can track and compare the vital skill of Pitch Recognition with a quick comprehensive test. Open a new side of hitting analytics and player development.

What Does the SRT Measure?
- More than Vision: You need to see well to pick up and read pitches, but good eye-sight only gets you so far. You also need to know what the visual information means to accurately predict the pitch: Where will that ball end up? When will it be there?
- Game-speed Reactions: Hitters must set their response and swing early on in the pitch trajectory (200-250 ms). How early can they read the pitch? How do early reads relate to contact & power potential?
- Pitch Type-Ball/Strike: Is a hitter reading the differences between pitch types? Can the hitter read good pitches to swing at and bad pitches to lay off?
